Playtime is for our youngest contestants (through age 3). Along with
a parent, they will be encouraged to interact with the judges and if
available, play with toys. Babies do not get counted off for inactivity.
Judges will talk with the parent or guardian who brings the child into
the room.
On-Stage Introduction is for our 4 year old and older contestants.
This introduction is anything they'd like to say up to 20 seconds in
length. The introduction can be anything from "Hi, my name is
______. I am ___ years old from _____ Texas. I like hot dogs and
candy" to something more elaborate that includes information about
your platform to your goals and dreams.
Patriotic Wear is any style of outfit (age appropriate) that is off the
rack, not custom made, and of a patriotic style. It can be red, white,
blue or any of those colors, it may also be of a military camo nature.
Have fun with this style!
Evening Wear is you being beautiful in your dress or gown. Age
appropriate and remember we're a natural system so make it non glitz.
